Q.- Thinking over the past couple of years, have you noticed an improvement in law enforcement? If so in traffic or neighborhood patroling?
A.- According to the 2005 Resident Survey from the Community Associations, only 23% of the residents felt traffic improved in the past year with additional assessment dollars but, 78% of the residents felt it is very important for the Association to continue to pay.
Q.- The primary purpose of the deed restrictions are to protect your property values. How effective do you feel these are being enforced?
A.- Overall, residents are satisfied. According to the 2005 survey 95% of the residents surveyed felt deed restrictions are somewhat to VERY important.
Q.- The Woodlands is a soup bowl of organizations. How do you best feel you would be served to receive information form all these organizations?
A.- The residents overall all want safety/security and they want their local leadership to have law enforcement and home/business maintenance as top priorities.
Q.- How many positions are being filled in May?
A.- Five at-large positions on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will be filed May 10, 2008. The (3) three candidates receiving the hghest number of votes shall be elected for a term of three (3) years, and the two (2) candidates receiving the next hghest number of votes will be elected for a term of two (2) years.
Q.- What are the qualifications for being a Township Director?
A.- You must be 18 years of age, Resident of Township for 6 months, Resident of Texas for 12 months and an United States Citizen. You may declare yourself as a write-in-candidate by march 17,2008 no later then 5:00 pm.
